Back to school!

Well....its official! Im going back to school. Today I signed my acceptance letter to Mid America's Masters of Arts and Counseling program. My goal is become a school counselor and maybe even get a certificate in play therapy. Im excited but kind of scared too. I wasnt a great student so Im nervous about how I will do in this program. I will start in June and will go for 25 months. Our lives will be different for the next few years but we believe it will all be worth it in the end!

Wish me luck!!

A little reminder!

As I have been going through this healing and growing process, I have been thinking of ways that I can remember our little baby. Brent and I have decided to do a little service but I wanted to do something for me. I decided that I was going to get a tattoo of angel wings. I know that our little baby is up in Heaven and that our Heavenly Father is taking great care of him or her.

In the book "Heaven is for Real", a little boy experiences heaven for a few minutes during a surgery. Throughout the book, he reveals things he has seen and experienced to his parents. The little boy describes everyone he sees in heaven with wings. One night he tells his parents that he met his sister in heaven and that recognized him and came running to meet him with hugs. His parents never told him that his mother had a miscarriage years before. He tells his parents that his sister is doing fine and that she can't wait to meet them. Its an incredible book and I highly recommend it. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I needed to know that our little baby is in heaven and doing awesome and that she is waiting to meet Brent and I!!!
HOW INCREDIBLE!!

The wings were drawn by my amazing brother in law! They couldn't have been more perfect! Thanks Filipe!!
